Brand photos that feel aligned with your business!

Investing in Brand photos is such a key component in elevating your personal brand and really bringing that know, like, and trust factor into your business!

Most importantly when taking brand photos, be yourself, let your personality and energy shine through! Here’s my tips for taking photos that feel aligned with you and your brand!

But first - Brainstorm around your content/brand pillars! You’re going to want to jot these down so you can build out your vision for your photos!

Here are my Brand Pillars - Spirituality/Mindset, Business Tips, Branding & Websites, Community/Inspiration Driven. So in my brand photos I took a variety of photos to reflect my Brand Pillars!

Next.. Get on Pinterest! Find some Inspiration for everything! For your outfits, for your poses, your locations, photos you want to recreate! I MEAN EVERYTHING! Have FUN with it! Create a board and then you can share it with your photographer! You can check out my Brand Photo Inspiration board here.

Now comes the FUN part.. Shopping!! It’s time to plan out your outfits! Ask your photographer how many outfit changes she will allow during your time together! When planning out your outfits, keep your brand colors in mind! Obviously my brand colors are mostly pinks, neutrals, and a bit of black, so my photos are going to reflect that! My favorite place to shop is Shein, no I’m not an affiliate, but It’s great because it’s inexpensive, fashionable, and I can find everything I need from shoes to jewelry to dresses and blazers! Another tip for Shein make sure you read the reviews on the fit and quality!

Here’s the way I styled my outfits and shared these with my photographer!

I knew that I wanted A dress for the coffee shop, playful vibe I wanted to bring in!

Then of course the Blazer for the CEO vibe, but I wanted a bit of flirty with it so I paired it with a cute pink lace bodysuit and ripped jeans!

Lastly I wanted a causal cute vibe because that’s me, the #WFH life! So I found a flowy top and again paired it with ripped jeans and cute fluffy sandals!

Plan.. Plan.. Plan..

Plan out your locations, for my photos we chose 3 locations!!
My first was a coffee shop, a local Starbucks that had my vibe.
Second was a garden that was close by, it was beautiful with structural aspects, greenery, and florals, and the Last was a local co-working space that is absolutely beautiful and my vibe, white tabletops, coral pinks, pink chairs, couches with fluffy pillows, and more!
I’ll share more of the photos once they come in from my photographer!

Then plan you hair and makeup! Are you going to a blowdry bar and getting your hair did, make that appointment ASAP so you can get in there as early as possible! Same goes for Makeup! And use your local small business owners! I was so excited I actually got to use two of my clients Plushblow, a blowdry bar for my hair and BellaTouch for my Makeup, she’s a solopreneur and does on location makeup or at her home!

Lastly, plan out your jewelry and accessories with each outfit!

Have a chat with your Photographer about your locations, styles, and variety of photos you need.
You will want to get a variety of angles, from headshots, to full body, and some wide horizontal shots for your website graphics, banners, and socials!

Start your day early, have FUN with your photos! Be authentic and don’t overthink it!

Be open to letting your photographer be creative with your photos, after all it’s their zone of genius!

Now get out there and have so MUCHH FUN, be that BOSS BABE to create the IMPACT and it will show through your photos!!
